Haiti has issued some stamp set (4 stamps for normal postage and 2 for airmail postage) and a souvenir sheet on 22 July 1958. Three of 5 stamps were afterwards overprinted with a RED CROSS on 19 August.
There is little to no information about the stamps which I was able to identify. The printing of the stamps were probably opportunistic. I do not know who was the designer, nor the engraver and do not have an idea about the quantity of stamps printed. The stamps were printed in sheets of 50 stamps.
The set of 4 stamps for normal postage (issued on 22 July 1958):
The 2 stamps for airmail postage (issued on 22 July 1958):
The Souvenir sheet issued on 22 July 1958:
The three stamps with Red Cross Surcharge + 50 cts (2 first ones for normal postage, last one for airmail postage), issued on 30 August 1958:
There are also some more proofs and punched imperforates known of these stamps.
