5 & 6 September 1958

Benelux is an organisation which still exist. It has been set up in order to create a greater organisation within Europe of three smaller countries: BElgium, NEtherlands and LUXembourg. .....

. It has been created on 5 September 1944 - and as such the 5 September was the 14th year celebration of their creation. The Benelux orgainsation was quite present on the philatelic area during the Expo 58. Many different philatelic supports could be identified, and cancellations of both days can be found easily.

However the time to cancel differ for 5 September and 6 September:

• cancellations on 5 September was from 10h till 14h
• cancelletions on 6 September was from 10h till 19h
