Last year's Brussels World Exhibition gave rise to a large (and mostly uncalled-for) crop of adhesive stams, but its only manifestation in meter stamps appears to have been in the unofficial slogans.
The following is based on a list compiled by Mr. Fernand Xhaflaire (Verviers, Belgium), the President and Provisional Secretary of the recent-formed Belgian Meter Stamp Society "C.E.M.B.E.". The organisers of the Exhibition used a Francotyp Cc - similar to a B-S type 9 but wider frank with five figures of value (z00.01). No. F 987 with TM "BRUXELLES-BRUSSEL". With sector no. 12 at bottom of the TM they used the following seven slogans:
The below are the 8 different cancellations issued. Quite rare to be found. The first model is the most used for real postal use (see also further below on the page).

Thirteen firms in Belgium (two with two meters each) used slogans referring to their participation in the Exhibition, and also two firms in France.
