10 May 1958
7, 8 and 9 July 1958
26 September 1958

France was the country which spread its National Day over three complete different days. (and set of days). The first day, 10 May 1958 is the most strange, because nothing happened that day... It could be caused by the Algerian conflict in that period. Due to that on the 1st of June, General De Gaulle was asked to create a government for 6 months. He became President on 28 September 1958.

The 7, 8 and 9 July 1958 were the real National Days, with a complete program.

The last day, 26 September 1958, only covered a competition of French singers.

It could be caused by the Algerian conflict in that period. Due to that on the 1st of June, General De Gaulle was asked to create a government for 6 months. He became President on 28 September 1958, replacing Rene Coty, President of the Fourth Republic of France.

So if somebody could complete the story about it, that would be great. Please contact me.
