The imperforated stamps were printed in a limited number (but no more information) like the French stamps. It was indeed the same printer which printed both the French stamps and all stamps of French colonies.

There is a difference though between the imperforated version of the stamps in issued colour and the same stamp printed in color strips of five stamps. These are also known if full sheets, and have probably been issued in many colors (no more information).
