The expo building of Brazil (Brazilia) housed a piece of the tree type Imbuia of about 3000 years old: it weighted about 25 tons, with a 10 meters diameter.
The program of the National Day of Brazil was celebrated by a Brazilan music concert by the "Grand Orchestre Symphonique de l'I.N.R.". The concert was conducted by Villa-Lobos.
